First off I want to say that I've heard nothing official so you don't have anything to worry about, BUT, there is something that someone said in dungeon chat that is a bit....perturbing.
We were on the discussion of what will be released next, (The tuesday prior to the Vanquisher/Xenocider teaser) and I mentioned perhaps we would soon be getting the skill trees.
His: Well, there is a big if as far as the skill trees are concerned.
Mine: No there isn't. There is no reason we wouldn't get the skill trees unless NAGC wants to lose all of it's players, and they're not about to release all of Jin's jobs, Amy's 4th and Sieghart/(s) jobs before we get a majority of the skill trees for the first jobs.
His: We won't get them if NAGC shuts down first.
Mine: Oh where'd you hear that? More unreliable forum rumors?
His: No, actualy I heard this directly from GM Loki (I believe was who he said, I'm not familiar w/ the GMs at all but that's the only GM's name that comes to mind).
Mine: Well, that's your word for what a GM supposedly stated.
So, now I'm stuck pondering the possible death of one my favorite MMOs, for fear of losing all the time I have put into it, as I'm sure many others would be worried/p.o.'d if other's knew their accounts were at risk as well.
I can understand after a point, where everything has been released, and KGC has stopped releasing new patches, that the end of GC would be near, but it's not, and we don't even have half of what they have at this point. It doesn't make even the slightest amount of sense to consider shutting down.
On the KGC forums after a Korean player asked something about why our version was being so quick in updating, a KOG official replied something along the lines of "Don't worry, their contract won't last long"
Do you have the link to this post? No offense, I just have problems taking what people say at "face value". Especially people on the internet.

Also, to the OP, you should know that the guy you were talking with is lieing. A GM would never reveal any future plans for Grand Chase.

Well, IF NAGC would be shutting down, of course they wouldn't tell us or we'd stop using Cash on it.
BUT thats a huge if, and as stated Ntreevs making money from it, so theres no real reason to shut it down.
I've only played a month, and I can say it would be a shame if they shut it down. So far I've had fun playing. Why take away our fun?
It's not closing down any time soon probably. This is most likely a thread to get a GM's attention to post there opinion on the matter.
