Try matching your in-game resolution to your native desktop resolution.

When did this problem start happening? Did it work OK before or is this your first time playing?

Which GPU are you using?

Try closing all startup programs, then rebooting your PC and launching CF.

No worries, it happens when you press the "Post" button repeatedly.

Which Windows version are you using?

Allow CF through your anti-virus and firewall.

ZanMark,

Could you write a short list of what you have tried already, and if you haven't tried all suggestions mentioned in this thread, then please do that. If you don't know how to do certain things, just ask and we'll be happy to help

1. Check / update video card driver is are any update avaible - but don't install additional software - just driver only

2. Reset game setting to default: go to My Documents \ Cross Fire - there delete all files with .dat extension

3. Start game as administrator, set game rezolution same value as your desktop (usually 1024x768 should work also) , leave gamma at 50% - save settings and join any room to test

What non-windows processes you have running on background? They can have problems with anticheat and cause crash.

Try installing the latest NET Framework. >>> https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/windows

Re-install or Install the newest DirectX supported by your video card.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ >>> https://support.microsoft.com/bg-bg/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

I know some of these MIGHT be included in OS updates but you never know...
